Kitesurfing has been synonymous with Campione since the beginning, and the Kite Campione Sports Association has always worked to guarantee a high level of safety, ensuring respect for the rules that regulate the practice of this challenging and exciting sport in the limited environmental context of Campione del Garda. In 2004, the Comunità Montana Parco Alto Garda included it among the eco-friendly sports promoted in the Garda Ambiente Sport project.
The fundamental principles stated in the Rulebook designed in 2000 are taken as an example by many Associations and have allowed our Kiters to distinguish themselves for responsibility and ability, obtaining appreciation in various spots around the world.
In 2010, in order to prevent that the exponentially increasing number of kiters from the different federations lead to a decrease in the standards of formation, conduct and, of course, of civil and criminal matters, the registration forms and the ASD statute were updated in accordance with the CONI guidelines.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Kitesurfing License
It is mandatory to have a valid FIV, Iko, Vdws kitesurfing license. If you already are a kiter but do not have one, there is the possibility to get one issued by the Kite School. LEARN MORE ABOUT THE KITE SCHOOL
Liability Insurance
Compulsory and included in the registration fee. The only alternative insurance accepted is a valid FIV membership card.
Medical Certificate
It is mandatory to have a medical certificate of suitability for non-competitive sports with ECG performed by an Italian doctor in Italy.
Registration form
In order to join is necessary to fill out the form in its entirety, including the medical certificate and kitesurfing license. The payment will be then finalized in the office in Campione. JOIN US NOW
MEMBERSHIP FEE 2024: 170€ / year
The membership fee is comprehensive of all contributions and can only be made annually (170€) or weekly (80€). It is not possible to subscribe for a daily or monthly fee.The fee includes the official identification lycra as well as the insurance agreement ( Conditions and Information Note - Special Conditions). Only by presenting a valid FIV card, you will have a reduction of € 10.
For minors under 18 years of age the membership fee is 15€. The insurance is still mandatory ( Conditions and Information Note - Special Conditions) and provided to minors free of charge in the absence of a FIV card ( medical certificate and the presence of a legal guardian are always mandatory).
In the absence of a valid medical certificate IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO KITE.
SERVICES
A Kitecampione membership entitles you to use various services including:> Assistance and recovery in water from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm for a fee of € 8.00 with Ora, € 16.00 with Peler (for NON-members € 50.00). The service is not guaranteed
> Assistance and kite launch on the beach. The service is not guaranteed
> Beach cleaning and maintenance
> Space for laying out the kites
> Live weather forecast and webcam
> Air compressor for kite inflation
> Equipment storage (against contribution)
> Chillout area
> Repair kit, thermosealer, toolbox

FIV membership is optional but recommended. Among the various benefits it includes an insurance. For FIV members there is a reduction on the membership fee of 10€.

4INSURANCE
The registration fee includes the third party liability insurance ITAS Mutua.
Presenting the valid FIV card, you will have a reduction of 10 euros, as it already includes third party liability insurance; FIV Conditions and Information Note .
If you do not have a FIV card, you will be obliged to take out the insurance policy agreed with ITAS Mutua, which covers the conduct and ownership of sailing boards in EU countries, with the relevant restrictions, exclusions, deductibles and anything else that can be consulted in the Conditions and Information Note - Special Conditions and at the time of registration.
Personal or family insurance will not be taken into consideration, except for the one just indicated.
